Day 33: Zero

Most hikers were packing up and leaving this morning, but not me. I relaxed in my tent and ate pizza for breakfast. Once the office opened I headed in for the free coffee they advertised. There was about 10 of us that showed up for coffee, so it was half cups at a time.😂 

I hung around the office watching movies, chatting, and taking advantage of the internet for most of the afternoon. My brother picked me up around 3 or 4 and we headed off to the hotel. As someone who loves hotels when I’m not sleeping in a tent every night, I was super excited. We were greeted with free snacks and happy hour, yes! 

We asked around for a good spot to eat and ended up at a cute place just down the road. Not really thinking about the fact I should be loading up on greens and ordering a salad, I got the veggie burger and fries, so good! We sipped drinks and played a few games of Battleship, which was a favorite of ours as kids. I lost both games. ☹️

Following dinner we were both tired and going to bed was the only thing on my mind. It had been an exhausting day of relaxation. 😂 I know I’ll have no problem falling asleep in this nice plush bed! What a fun night with my big bro! ❤️
